Have you “Zoomed” yet?
You can check the online calendar for information about when we’ll have meetings and Bible Study. We will also be using Zoom to hold worship Sunday mornings. Pastor Rob will open the “room” by 10:45 am. You can always join us for worship or other scheduled meetings by clicking here.
If your internet connection is unreliable, or you simply prefer to join by phone, you can use a telephone to call into our meetings.
To call in, first dial: 301-715-8592
then, when prompted, please type in our meeting ID number, 304-822-5083
then enter the password, 100
Remember, you do not need to create an account for Zoom to take part in a meeting that you are invited to or have been given the link for.
Tips for using Zoom video conferencing
Important things to remember
-
You do not need an account for Zoom to use it.
-
You do not have be on video to take part in a Zoom meeting. Some folks are understandably camera shy. When using Zoom, there is an option to share your voice and audio only.
-
We do not recommend using the browser version of Zoom, but it is available. We hear it is the most stable on Chrome.
-
Our Zoom meetings also have a phone in option, if you do not have internet access or do not wish to use your computer.
- If you are joining on a smartphone or tablet, you may see two options for connecting to audio. One will, depending on your device, say “wifi” “mobile data” or “cellular data.” The other will say “Dial In” or “Call me.” We recommend the wifi/mobile/cellular data option.
