Dear Members and Friends,

The Commitment and Witness committee is once again asking you to fill out an information sheet that will help the session plan committees and other work of the church. We hope you will think creatively and outside-the-box as you consider ways you can serve the church as we discover new ways of being together.

Please take the time to read the form, think about the contributions you are able to make, then thoughtfully fill out and return the form. Using us as willing vessels, God through the Holy Spirit —the power at work within us—is able to accomplish far more than we can ask or imagine. In your personal prayers and as you gather in fellowship with others, please remember to invite God’s guidance through this special emphasis.

As we ask you once again to fill out a commitment form we hope that you will see this as an opportunity to reflect on our future as a congregation. This is not a pledge that anybody will be checking up on. You will be free to adjust as circumstances change. It can, though, provide a baseline to the session, the committees, and the congregation to know the resources we can call on to answer whatever calling we hear. We hope that it may also lead you to reflect on how you can participate in growing our congregation. Commitments are not just financial; this congregation has individuals with many gifts to share. We invite you to prayerfully consider what commitments you can make as you fill out the Time and Talents form that accompanies this letter.

The form is available below. You can also pick up extra copies from the church office. You can complete and submit the form online or return the completed form to the church either by US Mail or in person. It would be helpful to have the forms returned by December 12.
